Ξ February 21st, 2008 | → | ∇ Tech, pictures by me |

I am toying around with the idea of playing around more with something called HDR (High Dynamic Range) in my photography… And so I wanted to know if yall liked the HDR stuff better than the normal photos or not… so here are some examples: 1st one is HDR the 2nd one is normal.

HDR

normal

So what do yall think? Oh and ifyou would like to see more of the newest photos I have uploaded then please go to my Flickr page.

Hmm… I love the sharpness and contrast that is present in the HDR pic, but it seems to do something to the clouds. At first I’d think that the camera moved, but the building is clear, so it feels more like a really slow shutter speed.

The barn pic on flickr, doesn’t seem to have that though.

Yeah, the HDR photo takes several photos all with different exposures and then shoves them all into one photo, so the cloud ghosting is there because it really is different shots taken at different times, and since the wind was blowing the plane trail it looks like there are three of them, heh.
And yeah the other one with the Barn is done from one photo that I just changed the contrast from one single photo, the unique look is not as good, but it still has a little bit of the look. thanks man!
