I really liked your Lenten thoughts. For my own self this is the first year I have really given something up and as a family have been reading God's word. It has made an impact in every aspect of our lives. I have also been saying this Prayer to the Blessed Virgin<br/>(never known to fail) Oh, most beautiful flower of Mt. Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin assist me in my neceessity.Oh Star of the Sea, help me and show me herein you are my Mother. Oh Holy Mary Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humby beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity (make request). There are none that can withstand your power. Oh Mary, concieved without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee (three times). Say this prayer for three consecutive days and then you must publish, and it will be granted to you. Grateful thanks. G

I had to cry a bit over your Lenten thoughts. I, too, often have to turn to God just to realize that death of our loved ones and our own deaths are still a part of God's great plan. Suffering leads to life as Jesus's death allowed us heavenly access and earthly happiness despite tragedy. God's will be done and let us believe in its awsomeness and power to help others through us.
